Post-War Reconstruction: Welcome

Guide outlining resources available at the IOE archive related to educational aspect of reconstruction in countries affected by the Secon World War

Introduction

Following World War Two, there was enormous international co-operation to reconstruct countries which had been destroyed by the War. Part of this programme of reconstruction was rooted in the use of education to try to eliminate Fascism, Nazism and militarism, and to create a network of educational institutions that would promote international understanding.
