UCL ID Cards are issued by Security Systems in the Andrew Huxley Building on Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 4.45pm (at right) https://www.ucl.ac.uk/estates/security/location/. Students will need to bring one form of personal identification and a photograph will be taken for the UCL card.
Each student will need a UCL username and password and a UCL card to access libraries and their library accounts.
Your UCL Library card is needed for UCL library transactions and entry to UCL libraries. Your library number is below the bar code and your PIN is your 4 digit day and month of birth (April 10th = 1004).
For borrowing, reserving or renewing items from other UCL Libraries, users will use UCL Explore and their UCL library number and PIN.
To refine your searches to education, you can limit to 'IOE' Library in Explore.
If you are using UCL Explore or IOE Library Search off-site, log in with your UCL username and password to ensure you get access to the full range of resources available to you.
Staff should take his/her IOE ID card to collect the UCL ID card issued by UCL Security at the Andrew Huxley Building on the UCL main campus: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/estates/security/location/.
Once you have collected your UCL ID Card, you can get your computer account details in person from the ISD Service Desk located a short walk in the DMS Watson Library http://www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/help.
If you cannot collect your UCL username and password in person, contact the IOE Computer Helpdesk at 0207612 6696 or email@example.com.
