Your Library Account status will be BLOCKED if your overdue fines and/or Library replacement charge for lost or damaged books reaches:

• £20 for UCL Staff and Student
• £10 for External borrowers

Library Explore Account

For borrowing, reserving or renewing items from other UCL Libraries, users will use UCL Explore and their UCL library number and PIN.

To refine your searches to education, you can limit to 'IOE' Library in Explore.

Remote Access

If you are using UCL Explore or IOE Library Search off-site, log in with your UCL username and password to ensure you get access to the full range of resources available to you.

Fines

Renewals

You can renew your loans as long as they have not been requested by other library users.

To renew:

Log onto your account at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/library/explore/

Self Service

Borrowing and returning is quick and easy with self-service machines at the entrance of the library.

 

Place your UCL card so that the red light of the scanner can read the bar code at the back of your card then place your book/s on the black pad. Press 'Finish' and a receipt will be emailed to you.

 

You can return your books on the on the door-facing self service machines. You do not need your UCL card to return items.
