Who is Duncan Taylor?
Duncan Taylor was a producer and programme editor in the Schools Broadcasting Department of the BBC from 1947 to 1972. Previous to this he worked in teaching, educational administration and the RAF. He was the author of several books for children on careers and historical subjects.
 
 
 
His collection comprises annotated scripts, administration files and articles from the Radio Times relating to the BBC Broadcasting for Schools programmes transmitted on BBC Radio. Most scripts are from the series for radio but there are also scripts and papers relating to the Radiovision programmes.
