Audiovisual material in various formats is available in the Library, along with equipment to view it if necessary. Use of some items is restricted to UCL staff and students due to the agreements under which the recordings were made or purchased.

The two principle collections of audiovisual material are:

Teaching Video collection: (Classmark JXXX) DVDs and VHS related to education including documentaries and class observations. These are held in store and are available for loan to UCL staff and for reference use by UCL students. For further details see the Teaching Video Collection LibGuide.

Off-Air recordings: (Classmark: Dewey number) recordings of programmes to support teaching, shelved in the Curriculum Resources collection and available for loan to UCL staff and students. Please note, the Off-Air recordings LibGuide page is being edited and is not currently viewable.

The Education in Literature collection also contains a selection of DVDs depicting education in film.

Our guide to Audiovisual Resources Online includes open access sources as well as sources that require subscription.
