Gene ADAMS (GA)

Adams was an art teacher who worked at the Geffreye Museum and then for the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) as the Art and Museum Education Advisory Teacher and the Museum Education Advisor from 1970-1990. She developed educational activities in museums and art galleries, including school visits, holiday activities and in-services training courses for ILEA teachers.

Brenda Francis was a London County Council (LCC) / Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) advisory teacher in the field of domestic science. Her role involved providing advisory and inspection services in schools in order to meet the training and development needs of teachers.
 
Trevor JAGGER (JAG) 
Jagger was a teacher and lecturer in Education before becoming an Inspector of Schools for the Inner London Education Authority during the 1970s. Between 1979 and 1985 he was Chief Inspector of Schools for the ILEA. This collection is not catalogued.
 
London Parents Ballot Campaign (LPB) 
The Campaign was set up to ask the opinion of parents about the transfer of responsibility for education services from the ILEA to local authorities as planned in the Education Reform Bill 1988. There was a 55% return on the vote and 94% of respondents voted against the government's plans. However the ILEA was abolished in 1990.
 
Kate MYERS (MYE) 
Myers has held a number of positions in higher education. Prior to this she was Project Manager of the Schools Make A Difference project in the London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, a pastoral head in an ILEA comprehensive school, ILEA co-ordinator of the Schools' Council's Sex Differentiation Project, an advisory teacher, director of the SCDC/EOC Equal Opportunities Project, and a senior inspector in the London Borough of Ealing.
 
Cynthia REYNOLDS (CR) 
Reynolds was an Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) Advisory teacher for Home Economics. Her role involved providing advisory and inspection services in schools in order to meet the training and development needs of teachers. She was also interested in child development and pre-school education and wrote widely on these subjects.
