Using Ebooks: Accessing Ebooks

Finding ebooks

The best way to find an ebook is via UCL Explore, as it gives you the opportunity to see all the titles to which UCL subscribes.

Unlike some other routes that are available online, access via Explore is completely legal and includes useful features, such as the opportunity to bookmark your search, save the ebook details into the referencing software of your choice, and check if the library has physical copies too. Once you have accessed the ebook, you can also create notes and share them with other UCL users.

Finding ebooks in Explore

To find an ebook using UCL Explore, enter your search terms, then narrow your search to online books only, using the "Refine your results" panel on the left.
