Some parts of our collection are in secure storage. If you would like to view something from the IOE Stores, you will have to request it via UCL Explore. The item will be available within three working days.
All items from the IOE Library Stores are reference only.
To request something from IOE stores, you will have to first sign in to UCL Explore. You can find the sign in option in the top right corner of UCL Explore.
Open the record of the item you wish to request. Once you have signed in, there will be a request button above the shelfmark for the book.
Click on the 'Request' button. A form will pop up. Enter any relevant information and then click on request.
What is in the IOE Library Stores?

When will something I requested be available?
Items requested from IOE Library stores may take up to three working days for us to fetch. When an item is ready for you to use, you will get an email notifying you that it is ready for collection. You will be able to collect it from the IOE Library Help Desk. If you have any questions about your request, please email ioe.librarycustomerservices@ucl.ac.uk
How is IOE stores different from UCL stores?
IOE stores is a collection of reference-only IOE material that is managed by the IOE Library staff. UCL stores is off-site storage that contains material from across the UCL sites. UCL store items are often loanable. If you have a question about an item that is in UCL stores, please contact librarystoredesk@ucl.ac.uk.
