The library is currently only open to current UCL students and staff and external borrowers who still have valid cards.

The entrance to the IOE is on Level 3, 20 Bedford Way. You will not be able to access from the Woburn Square Level 4 entrance. Upon entering the building, you must scan your card in the level 3 entrance vestibule. You must also scan your card when exiting the building on Level 3.

Staying Safe

When visiting, please use the one way system around the library. Staff can help you if you need help finding something or navigating around the building.

Unless you have a valid reason for not wearing a mask, please wear a mask throughout the IOE building, and while moving around UCL campuses.

Please stay 2 meters from other people using the space.

If you feel unwell, please do not come into the library and stay home instead.

Sanitisation stations are available with handgel and desk wipes.

For more information on keeping safe on campus visit the UCL microsite.
